The Bishop has requested that this blog be torn down, so alas, we will have to find other ways to keep everyone updated... :(

Rebekah has generously offered to share the fruits (or vegetables, rather) of her labor! The following vegetables are available upon request:

  • lettuce
  • kale
  • radishes
  • cilantro
  • peas
If you would like to pick some of these fine vegetables from her garden, please call - her number is (760) 881-7718

Mommy and Me Groups, Exercise Groups, or any other kind of group will no longer be Relief Society related due to requests from the Stake Relief Society Presidency. If you are interested in these groups, please let someone in the Presidency know. We can still hold these groups, however, they cannot be tied to Relief Society.

Celebrate summer and the end of the semester with us this Tuesday!

Hey Girls!! True Beauty Night was a success. Thanks Samm Child for sharing all of your wisdom with us. We learned so many valuable tricks and will save money now that we know how to cut our husbands' hair! Thanks to all the girls that came. What a fun night!! Here are a few pictures. :)

Thurday, June 17th at 6:45pm
Please meet us in the chapel at 6:30. The session starts at 6:45, but it fills up fast!
There will be treats in the R.S. room afterwards.
If you have any questions, please call Brittany Skousen at (214) 215-0308

Sam Child will give us beauty tips and teach us how to cut our husband's hair. Also, there will be a very special gift for ever sister that comes!! You don't want to miss this!

Fruits and Vegetables taste so much better fresh, don't they? A couple weeks ago, Leslie gave a great suggestion for how to get a fresh fruit and vegetable basket for only $15. You can find more info on these baskets by visiting their website, Bountiful Baskets.

If you'd like to pick your own fresh fruits and veggies, I found out there's a U-Pick farm in Idaho Falls that has fresh eggs, watermelon, canteloupe, corn, cucumbers, and much more! (When they're in season, of course...) Their website is http://upickredbarn.com

Fresh Fruits and Veggies

We temporarily pulled the Visiting Teaching Announcements from the blog due to concerns about privacy. If you have any concerns or questions about your visiting teaching assignments, please call a member of the presidency. Thanks!!

It's that time of year again... Spirit week is coming to BYU-I! And you know what that means? It's time for...

This is a great excuse to get some much needed exercise and celebrate the spirit of BYU-I as a ward! If you're interested in participating, or even just watching, please click here to register online.

And if we can get 50 or more ward members involved, we get free ice cream!

If you're a part of the R.S. Activities Committee (or think you're a part...), please come to a meeting Tuesday at 7 in the Village lounge.
